Alcohol Ink Painting

This particular series is something that is really close to my heart. I have always found black papers extremely intriguing to work with but with alcohol inks it was initially challenging to get a grasp on this, but I have since come a long way. These paintings seemingly depict my this very journey on starting out in this field as a somewhat beginner and gently progressing along the way. The roses too start floating from a point and slowly but surely make their way forward not unlike many of us in this journey of life. This tryptic series shows that, by way of showing the roses in different sections of the painting. This is the exact essence I have tried to capture in my paintings that each part of the journey is equally beautiful and worth cherishing as any other. It serves as a reminder that all of us are going along our individual paths making our way forward in due course. (The mock up purely serves as a reference point and how the artist painted it, the order may be catered to personal preference.) Note: Work can be framed upon request.
