Amrrita’s work is an exploration into the world that lies just at the border of reality. Her subject matter is often the commonplace items of everyday living with just a hint of what lies beyond. Having spent the majority of her lifetime between Dubai and Mumbai, the melting pot of cultures, her drawings depict that amalgamation of known and unknown. Her work as a Marketing and event specialist has watered her adventurous soul and led her to climb mountains like Mt. Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, and Everest base camp. The Covid-19 pandemic gave her the permission to explore her art and create works that are quite reflective of the current mood.
